Molded hollow carbon with

Our Under the Sink water filters can be used for a full year
without concern about bacterial growth inside the filter
cartridge. Even if you have not used the full capacity of
the filter within a year, it is strongly recommended that you
replace the filter cartridge. Failure to replace any brand
of filter cartridge after the recommended time could be
dangerous to your health.

42 (aesthetics) for
Chlorine, Taste, Odors, Sediments at 2.5 gpm. Chemical reduction
for taste improvement: Chlorine, chloramine, ammonia, hydrogen
sulfite, metallic tastes. Class I Particulate reduction to >.5
microns. •Tested &
Certified by Independent Pace Laboratory according to
NSF Standard 53
(health effects) for the reduction of specific
health-related contaminants, such as Cryptosporidium,
Giardia, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs)*, MTBE (methyl
tertiary-butyl ether), that may be present in public or private drinking
water.
Note: Products certified under Standard 53 for reduction of cysts
will be effective for Cryptosporidium, Giardia,
Entamoeba, and Toxoplasma.
